JazzWorld's Teknosys Wins Two Gold, Three Merit Awards at P@SHA ICT Awards 2026
Teknosys, the software intelligence arm of JazzWorld, secured two Gold Awards and three Merit Awards at the 22nd P@SHA ICT Awards, held on September 22 in Karachi.
The Winning Products
FikrFree took Gold in the Banking, Insurance and Finance category. The digital insurance management platform is one of the consumer-facing products in the JazzWorld ecosystem, addressing insurance access and management for individual users.
ROX won Gold in the Media, Entertainment and Game of the Year category. ROX is JazzWorld's entertainment and lifestyle platform, competing in a category that covers a wide field of digital entertainment products.
Three additional Teknosys products received Merit Awards. Meridian, which focuses on geospatial and market intelligence, won in Big Data Analytics. Whispr, an AI-powered brand analysis tool, was recognised in Marketing Solutions. Onboarding Buddy, an employee onboarding solution, received a Merit Award in Professional Services.
Together the five recognised products span analytics, AI-driven marketing tools, enterprise solutions, insurance technology and entertainment — a range that reflects Teknosys's stated model of applying software, AI and data capabilities across diverse use cases rather than concentrating in a single vertical.
What Was Said
Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer of JazzWorld, said the awards recognise technology being built locally to solve real needs for consumers and businesses.
About Teknosys and JazzWorld
Teknosys was described by JazzWorld as delivering high-impact analytics, software and professional solutions with startup agility and enterprise-grade reliability. Within the JazzWorld ecosystem it serves as the engineering and intelligence layer connecting platforms across fintech, entertainment, cloud, healthtech and enterprise services.
JazzWorld itself was unveiled as a unified digital ecosystem in February 2026, consolidating Pakistan's largest mobile operator and its subsidiary brands — JazzCash, Mobilink Bank, Tamasha, ROX, Simosa and others — under a single brand identity. Aamer Ejaz was simultaneously appointed as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer to accelerate AI development across the enterprise.
About the Awards
The P@SHA ICT Awards are organised by the Pakistan Software Houses Association and are the primary mechanism through which Pakistani IT products and services qualify for the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards. The 2026 edition assessed more than 1,380 entries across 10 main categories and 41 sub- and cross-categories, with judging rounds conducted in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore through an independent panel of national and international experts.
Gold winners and runners-up become eligible to represent Pakistan at the APICTA Awards in Jakarta, Indonesia in December 2026, where they compete with entrants from 17 Asia-Pacific member economies.
