You Can Finally Watch 'Severance', 'Pluribus' & 'Silo' for Free in Pakistan

Apple's iCloud+ arrangement in Pakistan bundles Apple TV and Apple Arcade into every paid storage plan, meaning the entire Apple TV catalogue now comes attached to a subscription starting at Rs. 200 per month.

That covers Severance, Pluribus, Silo, Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, Pachinko and the rest of Apple's originals slate.

What "Free" Actually Means

Worth being precise, because the framing is doing some work.

This is not free in the sense of costing nothing. It is free in the sense that Apple TV carries no separate charge on top of an iCloud+ subscription you may already want for storage.

Rs. 200 per month gets you 50GB of iCloud storage plus Apple TV plus Apple Arcade. Higher tiers scale storage up to 12TB while keeping the same bundled services. Every paid plan also includes iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, custom email domain support, HomeKit Secure Video and Apple Invites.

For context, that Rs. 200 figure is roughly what standalone Apple TV was expected to cost in Pakistan. So the storage is arguably the thing being thrown in, not the streaming.

The Shows Worth Your Time

Severance remains the flagship. Adam Scott leads a team at Lumon Industries whose memories have been surgically divided between work and personal life — their "innies" know nothing of the outside world, their "outies" remember nothing of the office. It is workplace horror dressed as science fiction, with Britt Lower, John Turturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette rounding out a cast that has no weak links. Another season is on the way.

Pluribus won a 2026 Emmy and carries one of the better loglines in recent television: the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness. A second season has been confirmed.

Silo is the dystopian one — an underground society where a rebel pushes for answers about why anyone lives there in the first place.

Beyond those three, the catalogue includes Slow Horses with Gary Oldman, Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, Foundation, Pachinko and Dickinson, plus documentaries and limited series.

Family Sharing Changes the Maths

The subscription extends to up to five additional family members at no extra cost, and the sharing covers storage, Apple TV and Apple Arcade together.

Each person keeps separate viewing profiles and watch histories.

One Rs. 200 subscription covering six people with cloud storage, a premium streaming catalogue and 200-plus games with no ads or in-app purchases is unusual value in this market by any measure. Apple Arcade's no-purchase-prompts structure is particularly relevant for households with children.

The Catch You Should Know About

Apple TV in Pakistan has not been fully functional. Earlier reporting found that subscriptions could be activated while video playback did not actually work.

Apple's own disclaimer notes that pricing, services and individual features vary by country, and some features may not be available in every region.

So the sensible move is to verify that playback works before treating this as a solved problem. Apple appears to be edging toward a proper Pakistan launch rather than having completed one.

The broader rollout covers more than 100 countries, with Apple TV newly available in 59 of them, taking its total reach to 170. Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services and Health, framed it as delivering both services in a single subscription. The United States is notably excluded.

Why Apple Is Doing This

The strategic logic points away from Apple One in price-sensitive markets.

Apple One bundles everything at a premium, and in markets where that premium is unaffordable, the result is that people buy nothing. Folding content into the storage subscription people already need converts a hard sell into an easy one.

There is also the simple reality that Apple TV has never had a subscriber problem for content quality — it has had one for content volume. Nobody signs up to a service for four shows. Bundling it removes that calculation entirely.

The Actual Requirement

None of this matters unless you are inside the Apple ecosystem already.

The value proposition here is for people who own an iPhone, iPad or Mac and would be paying for iCloud storage regardless. For everyone else, the phone is the price of admission, and it is not Rs. 200.

That is worth stating plainly, because "free streaming in Pakistan" reads very differently depending on what is already in your pocket.
