NADRA Announces Jobs for IT Graduates Across Pakistan

<br># NADRA Announces Jobs for IT Graduates Across Pakistan
The National Database and Registration Authority has announced new job openings for IT and telecom professionals, advertising Deputy Assistant Director positions across several technical specialisations. The deadline to apply is October 4, 2026.
Available Positions
The advertised posts cover five technical areas: DevOps, infrastructure, VAS operations, networking and system administration. An additional position is available for Deputy Assistant Director (Network Engineer — Core).
The network engineering role involves core network operations and is described as preferring candidates with a Master's degree, though a 16-year bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement.
Who Can Apply
The positions require at least 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field. Degrees must be from an HEC-recognised university and attested by HEC.
Work experience required is 0 to 1 year — making these roles specifically suitable for fresh or near-fresh graduates who may have completed a project, internship or brief professional posting but have not yet built a substantial employment history.
The maximum age limit is 30 years for all listed positions.
Why NADRA
NADRA was established in March 2000 under the Ministry of Interior and operates as the backbone of Pakistan's national identity infrastructure. It manages the CNIC database, the Smart National Identity Card system, the Pakistan Origin Card, the NICOP system for overseas Pakistanis and, most recently, Pakistan's digital passport infrastructure, biometric attendance systems, and the vaccine verification systems used for Hajj and Umrah travel.
NADRA has been an active adopter of technology in its core operations. The agency runs the e-Sahulat network, which served as a delivery mechanism for the pension verification system launched this month. Its APIs connect to SBP, PVARA, health departments and various provincial systems. Technical staff at NADRA work on systems that are directly integrated into government operations rather than software products that reach users indirectly.
For an IT graduate seeking a government-sector role, NADRA sits at the more technically demanding and operationally significant end of the public sector employer spectrum.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online through NADRA's official careers portal at careers.nadra.gov.pk before October 4, 2026.
Candidates should prepare HEC-attested degree documents in advance, as the attestation process can take several weeks if not already completed. The application form requires uploading relevant educational certificates, CNIC and any experience documentation.
NADRA is simultaneously running walk-in recruitment drives at regional offices for Junior Executive and Naib Qasid positions — those are separate from this announcement and follow a different process. The Deputy Assistant Director positions advertised here are headquarters and professional-grade roles with an online-only application process.
