Belkin's 45W Compact USB-C Charger Gets a Nice Amazon Price Cut to $14.99
Belkin's compact 45W USB-C wall charger has dropped to $14.99 on Amazon, down from its usual $19 to $25 range depending on the listing. It is one of those small, unglamorous accessories that quietly makes a bag lighter, and at this price it is hard to argue with.
The model in question is the WCH013dq, a single-port USB-C block with foldable prongs. Shipping is free for Prime members, or on orders over $35 for everyone else. No coupon or code is needed — the discount is applied at the listing.
What you actually get for $15
Forty-five watts from one USB-C port, backed by a USB PD 3.1 chipset and PPS support. That combination matters more than the raw wattage number. PD 3.1 handles the modern fast-charging handshake across brands, and PPS is what Samsung phones need to hit their top charging speeds rather than falling back to a slower profile.
Belkin's own figures: an iPhone 16 Pro goes from zero to 50 percent in 28 minutes, a Samsung Galaxy S23 in 30 minutes or under, an iPad Pro 11-inch in 38 minutes, and a Chromebook ThinkPad C13 Yoga Gen 1 in 37 minutes. Manufacturer numbers are always measured under ideal conditions, but the ballpark is right for a 45W single-port brick.
Forty-five watts is also enough to run a MacBook Air or a lighter Chromebook, though not at full speed under load. It will keep an Air topped up during normal work and charge it properly overnight. For a 14-inch MacBook Pro doing anything demanding, you will want something bigger.
The prongs fold flat, which is the actual selling point. A charger that does not snag on the inside of a bag is a charger you will keep carrying.
Compatibility is broad: iPhone 17 and earlier, Samsung Galaxy, Pixel, iPad and iPad Pro, Chromebooks, and the Nintendo Switch 2. Belkin also includes its connected equipment warranty on this unit, covering repair or replacement of devices damaged by an electrical fault while properly connected to the charger, up to $2,500. That is standard for Belkin but still uncommon in the sub-$20 tier, where most of the competition is unbranded.
The two-pack option
If one is not enough, Amazon is also running a two-pack at $27.99 that bundles two chargers plus two USB-C cables. That works out to $14 per charger with a cable thrown in on each, which is the better value if you want one for a desk and one for travel.
Note that the single-unit listing does not include a cable. If you do not already have a spare USB-C to USB-C cable, factor that into the price.
How good is the deal
Tracking sites put the next-best price from a reputable seller at around $24.98, making this roughly a 40 percent cut. The charger has bounced around the $15 mark before — it hit the same price back in December 2025 — so this is a recurring low rather than an all-time first. It is still the floor, not a fake discount dressed up with an inflated list price.
The deal has been live since the start of September, which means it is running longer than a typical lightning promotion but also that it could end without notice. Amazon accessory pricing on items like this tends to drift back up quietly.
Who should skip it
Anyone who needs to charge two devices at once. This is a single-port block, and at $15 to $20 there are dual-port GaN options from Anker and others that split power between two devices. Anyone charging a work laptop that draws 60W or more should also look at a higher-wattage unit.
For everyone else — one phone, one bag, one plug — this is about as easy a $15 to spend as accessories get.
